Carterton Kebab Grill

Carterton Kebab Grill, which, for those who remember, used to be Medina Grill, and I have to say, it’s absolutely brilliant! I was a bit sceptical at first, as I’d been a regular at Medina Grill and wasn’t sure how much had changed, but I was pleasantly surprised.

First off, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly – proper customer service, which is always a bonus. The place feels clean, cosy, and inviting. It’s clear they’ve put some effort into making it a great spot to grab a bite.

Now, onto the food – the most important part! I went for a doner kebab, and it was spot on. The meat was perfectly cooked – juicy, flavourful, with just the right amount of grease :) . The salad was fresh and crisp, and the home made chilli sauce had just the right amount of kick. They’re generous with portions too, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

My mate tried the chicken shish, and he couldn’t stop raving about it – the chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked on point. We also shared some fries, and they were exactly how they should be: golden, crispy, and not soggy.

It’s also worth mentioning the menu – from kebabs and wraps to burgers, so there’s something for everyone. Pricing is fair for what you get, and they don’t skimp on quality or quantity.

All in all, Carterton Kebab Grill has done an excellent job taking over from Medina Grill. If you’re in the area and fancy a proper tasty kebab or just some good comfort food, I’d highly recommend giving it a go. It’s easily one of the best takeaway spots in Carterton now – I’ll definitely be back!
